Eye Exams for Glasses
State-of-the art examination equipment and over 30 years of experience make for the highest degree of accuracy.
Vision care is changing, and we’re on the leading edge of that change. Our examination equipment is state-of-the art, computer controlled, and laser enabled to provide the highest degree of precision possible.
The examination equipment is all digital, and links with the computer system to store your examination records securely and permanently. We use digital imaging systems to record and store pictures of your retinas (important with diabetics and those with eye diseases) that allow us to make comparative analyses of any changes.
If you are troubled by dry, irritated eyes, you should have an evaluation to determine the cause. It could be tear glands that don't produce enough tears, or it could be excessive dehydration caused by a meibomian gland dysfunction. These are treatable conditions that can be improved significantly.
An evaluation for dry eye is done routinely during a normal eye examination. It can also be done separately at any time without a full eye examination. If you suspect that you have a dry eye problem, finding out is quick and simple, and treatment is easy and effective.
